I’d advise you to avail the hosting service from http://www.godaddy.com/

They are one of the best hosting service provider ever, and customer service is excellent providing support 24/7. And hosting rate is very competitive. This is my personal experience.

Forget about what everyone said. I’ve been doing web design for quite some time and have been dealing with so many hosts that were just horrible. I also dislike Go Daddy, although I’ve seen worse.

If you really want a good host which gives you full control over everything + gives you a great value then go with 1and1.com
You won’t regret.

Oh this is such a question for space monkeys. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Weigh out the pros and cons and that’ll give you your answer.

Most versatile – http://godaddy.com
Most reliable – http://mediatemple.net
Least expensive – http://1and1.com

I can at least give you ones to avoid:
Too expensive – http://networksolutions.com and http://register.com
Too unreliable – http://cihost.com
Too expensive and too restrictive – http://yahoo.com

I continue to use godaddy because they are cheap, easy and extremely quick – I’ve never had server downtime (on shared and VDS) – I’m even a reseller for them. I won’t swear by them or anything, but when you want a lot of features and flexibility and not get your pocket chewed out – they’re great.

Your other option is to go with an independent hosting company – usually the most reliable, but sometimes pricy.
