What is the best web hosting company to go with for the money?

I want to pay no more than 20.00 a month for a company that will host my website and transfer my domain . I want to remain on the top of search listings as I was in the past.

    I’ve used probably 5 or six different host and have found a few things. You always want to go with one that will let you host multiple sites on the same account and that has a month to month payment plan.     Hostgator is a much better host.I have been hosting with hostgator for around a couple of months now, and have a couple of domains with them.

    You will remain on the top of search listings as long as you keep your domain name. Changing hosts won’t influence that.

    Steve, are those your only requirements? If so, there are tons of great hosts out there for under $20. Best thing to do is to check out hosting comparison sites to compare the specs that you’re getting.

    As for keeping your search listings, it helps to have a reliable, fast host – you don’t want to run into a situation where your site is down or slow, so that the search engine spiders can’t access it.

    There are a lot of hosts that are a lot cheaper than 20 a month and provide an excellent service, for a breakdown of many of the hsoting you can check out my sorce link which points out hsotings that give you cheap hosting with up to 3 months free trial.

    However i noticed you talking about staying top of the search engines, being top of the search engines relies on SEO or search engine optimisation and your hsoting will not influence that but the number of backlinks, keywords, content etc will affect your rankings.

    But back to the main point of hosting, do look around and do not go paying out befor you have checked out a lot of the less known sites as godaddy, hostgator do offer great hosting but there are others that are much cheaper.

    This site has all of the top parking sites and a little review info about them. They are ranked on a scale of 1-10 and includes links to the sites. Very Helpful and easy to navigate.
