  2. I recommend http://ucoz.com They have a bunch of great modules like forums, site news, downloads page (file manager), blogging, and a lot more without any need for html experience (although you can use html it if you’d like)

Sign up and, in your webtop control panel, double-click the create site.

    DEFENATELY recommend http://zymic.com

    6GB (6,000 MB) webspace
    50GB bandwidth
    PHP 5.1.6
    FTP file management
ad free on your site and their site
    free domain name

I use it for my site, but zymic is down right now because of server transfer (bummer)

  5. Hello,

Although I can understand why you would want a free host, it is important to look at the total package that comes with paying a host. Really a webhost is only as good as the customer service it offers. A great host should have 99% Network uptime, fast and reliable hardware, and 24X7 customer service availability. You should be able to call the Host 24 hours a day and speak to someone that can help. No matter who you are, you will want great customer service. I would look into HostMySite.com. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. This way you are not tied down and still are free to go elsewhere.

    Good Luck.

  6. If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily "mask" the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet access and hosting fee.

    Good luck!

  7. Hi,
I would recommend "IX WebHosting" because it’s very cheap and reliable. Their support service is awesome.Don’t go for free web hosting. They are not reliable. Check it out here:

  8. There is no such thing as free lunch, it says. Free hosting will take advantage of you one way or another and they might sell your info or will sell ad space on your webpages. They are also not as reliable as paid ones.

When I started building websites, I was confused which web hosting to go for. Now I am clear about which web hosting provider is good and reliable. For your information concerned with choosing web hosting, I have selected top web hosting providers.

    Compare the hosting providers.
