What is the best free web hosting site?

I would like to open a store online to sell some different things. I have many people interested in it, but I don’t want to put a lot of money into it until I know it’s going to work. Is there a good, reliable web hosting site that is free to start with,and if you like it,can upgrade to premium where you get a domain name, etc?

    Hi,.

    I did some research about this, since I was also trying to do the same thing like what you plan.
    I came across two different sites that you might be able to have a look and decides, these two has their own plus and minuses .
    1. http://www.000webhost.com/
    This one is really feature rich, and basically ready to be used, even for long time. the disc sapce and the bandwidth provided is more than enough to start.

    2.http://www.synthasite.com/
    This one helps you to build the website with their software, which is web based, so there is no need for you to install any other software for web building. but other feature is not as complete as the first option.

    Both options has no ads on the site hosted.

    Nothing is free in cyber space.

    Go Daddy are likely the least expensive for hosting

    u can make ur own store on ebay or make website with http://www.tripod.com and u can upgrade to premium on that to and u can use paypal to accept paymentz

    i don’t know any ones where it would be plain .com but a good free one is xtreemhosts.com
