    With Free web hosting you will not get your own domain name. you need to work with sub domain or directory. If your site has some problems, related to scripts or any else, they will reject your hosting. so you will loss your all data on server and also your traffic which is on your site.

    i would like to suggest about paid hosting. still if you are interested in free hosting domain, you can go threw co.cc.

    You’re not going to find good, free webhosting. You get what you pay for – that’s just a fact of life.

    You can find good, inexpensive hosts like DreamHost that will cost you ~$5/month

    I wouldn’t suggest any free web hosting. They are too unreliable. I would definitely just pay the $4.95/month and use Host Gator. However, if you don’t need FTP access, I highly recommend the free services Blink Web or Yola. They offer many ways to build and customize your website without the need for FTP access.

    It may be your current internet provider:

    If your current internet provider is Earthlink, AOL, SBC Global and others which provide a homepage; you can easily FTP your own webpage designs as a new homepage even design one from scratch using Netscape Composer. And using a redirection service such as mydomain.com or the forwarding of a parked domain name at godaddy.com, you can easily "mask" the homepage URL with a proper domain name. So in a sense, you have a working ecommerce website disguised as a homepage while still paying your normal monthly Internet provider’s access and hosting fee of the homepage.
