What is the best & cheapest web hosting available?

I need a great web host that I can count on and only want to spend a few bucks to try them out before I make a full commitment to them. I need there to be a good and easy to understand c-panel too. PLEASE advise : 0 )

    If you are planing to use your website for business purpose, do not go for cheapest option. What if your website is not available 10% of the time ? Rather try a good web hosting provider like http://aplis.net/
    Else you can use free webhosting provider like awardspace
