Should we make Yahoo! answers part of peoples marketing assignments? What kind of impact will yahoo! answers make to your business?

I am very new to yahoo answers, I’ve stopped by a few times but was very confused. I have heard of many Internet marketers using Yahoo answers to get targeted traffic to their offers. I have taken a look around and it seems like that would be Impossible to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated

My boss asked me to come up with a number to do the following from home:

-Google AdWords
-Yahoo! Ads
-Constant Contact weekly newsletters and harvesting of new email addresses
-consultation on the development of our new website, plus the site maintenance (updates, promotions, etc.)
-contacting travel agencies/business to try to get group and corporate accounts

This is for a small hotel. What’s a fair monthly fee for all this work?

I am interested in going with Site Build It to start a website. After doing a lot of research in how websites get indexed into Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc, I have found that Site Build It seems to really be a time saver while helping your site get traffic.

However, the price for Site Build It seems pretty steep. It seems to average out to a month. This is not bad, but putting 0 bucks up front for my budget is. My only fear is that there are hidden fees. Do they try to upsell you to anything else promising you will do better? Do you have to put in a lot of money to google adwords to ensure your website will draw traffic? I have seen a lot of blogs and such about site build it that say you have to follow it exactly for it to work.

There are a lot of sites/products that promise a good thing, but fail to mention there are other things you have to buy. I am not looking for anyone giving me the run around then providing me with their link to give them profit.
Its not that I do not want to give someone a profit for their hard work, but for right now I am just wanting to get all of the information I can before I invest my time and money.

I would also like to know how much you can make with this program. I understand it is not a get rich quick. I currently have about 5 blogs that I work with that have affiliates and ad programs and realize that it takes time. I also understand that it depends on what niche you choose.

I am not looking to dig into anyone’s personal life, but feel that at least getting an idea of what I can potentially make per month or per year would be the same as going onto the occupational handbook to look up a job and the potential income. I think they are basically forcing business to use their Adwords which is also a rip off because it doesn’t get the results you need and there’s a lot of click fraud which suits Yahoo just fine because it means more money for them. I am going to use Yahoo Marketing, MSN adverts and Google adwords at cost of £0.15 per click.When you search to buy online cards and click on an adword do you care who you buy from? Would you buy from us and what name do you think we should have?

Google adwords charges more or less by popularity of a keyword. But isn’t it true that only pepsi can buy pepsi adwords? All the sudden now it makes it not popular, as there’s only 1 bidder for that keyword. So how does that impact the cost per click then? Is the cpc next to nothing? If not, what’s the justification, as there’s no competing bids? I appreciate a sound answer to this, thanks.
PS: I’m not asking because I’m going to run ads. I’m curious about it from another perspective.
derr I know what the point of a campaign is. all I wanted to know was, if only the organization can buy ads for a certain keyword, then does that make the price down to a few pennies. I swear, people on yahoo answers simply can’t answer the questions. They always gotta try to figure out why you’re asking and answer a different question I didn’t ask.
