I have an Audiovox XV6600, 2006 model, from Verizon that I am still using. It has a main battery and a backup battery. The backup battery is dead, won’t charge. I know it can be replaced because the part can be bought, but I can’t find anything in the User Guide or elsewhere to explain how to replace it. Verizon and Audiovox no longer offer support.

So here’s the situation. I have a Sprint PPC-6700 and have had it for 9 months. I have recently switched carriers and gone with Verizon because I’ve recently moved to a rural area and Verizon seems to be the best carrier out here for wireless. Verizon essentially sells the same phone which is the XV-6700. I asked Verizon reps could they just put my Verizon number on my PPC-670 and unfortunately they’re not allowed to do it. So, I’m left with the choice of either selling my PPC and buying the XV, trading with someone that wants to do the opposite ( I guess I’ll look on the internet trading sites or craigslist and/or post there), or somehow reprogram my PPC and make it work with Verizon. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
i read that this phone doesnt support mms which you can recieve or send out pics and vids. Also read that theres this file that you download from verizon to get mms. I already talk with sprint and i have no answers.
