Does anyone know the correct IRS business activity code to use for a small business that makes money by marketing online (all pay per click search) for internet retailers and gets paid a commission for each referral that leads to a sale? (no inventory – just advertising and commissions based on sales referrals. All done online.)
Thanks!
I have launched my website and I am doing the PPC with google and yahoo. I am reading a lot about pay per click fraud. I am wondering if I should buy a software to prevent the PPC fraud or opt for another marketing alternative. I have heard email blasts are good but I dont know of any reputable companies.
I think I am wasting my money with this new website that I found that delivers hits to my website. I would prefer to use google adwords because you Pay per click, but unfortunatley I do not have a credit card and Google doesn’t accept paypal as a payment method. Does anyone know of a traffic service with a similar structure as a pay per click system like Google. I don’t want to pay for useless traffic that get cycled back into my websites. These are mostly hits and rarely visitors and many repeat visitors in one day. Please help, I don’t want to waste money anymore, I want to make money.
Here is the website I am refering to, have a look and tell me if you thinks its a scam too.
I’m having problems using pay per click (PPC), mainly Google Adwords, since it is now just sooo expensive that it makes it not worthwhile to even be in business.
Does anyone know any way that I can either cut my PPC costs, or increase the number of people who buy – I guess mainly I want to make some profit again, so I guess the main thing is cutting the costs, although more turnover for the same spend would I guess be the same thing.
Are there any good websites, tips, courses, books, etc that can help – or can any of you help please? I’m up against it and desperately need help.
I have opened up a new site called SpecialHomeProducts.com, and am now being INUNDATED with all kinds of offers from every direction regarding ways to MARKET this site…everything from selling eBooks, to reselling other’s products, to posting articles on directories and to forums! Can anyone explain what methods are scams and which are not in these areas? For instance, right now, there is a VERY Big following for one called Get Google Ads Free.com, which claims Google Adwords can be used with their "secrets" if you buy their ebook and follow their instructions, and you won’t have to pay the usual pay-per-click rate if you follow their 128 page ebook of how to do so. (You have to pay up front just to get the ebook, first, of course!)
How do we know who to trust, and who not to? And on forums…are they strictly just designed to discuss topics on the net, or can one make money using them to promote a site? Same thing with article directories…are they just for articles, or promos?
I want to get more hits for my website but I don’t want to waste money on Adwords type pay per click. Does anyone know a site where I can buy hits (genuine users) cheaply?
If I have a website or blog that I partially use as a means of income via Google Adsense, do I have to actually buy keywords to use them on my site and for them to show up in a Google search? The reason I ask is because my website and blog doesn’t sell anything, so pay-per-click ads (i.e. Google Adwords) are not what I’m going for and would not be cost efficient to say the least.
What other options are there to add keywords to my site or blog for free? Will they allow my site to show up in a Google search and, as a result, generate good traffic? All the videos and tutorials I see for Adsense always recommend using Adwords, but I can’t afford to buy a bunch of pay-per-click keywords just to have a small chance that someone will click an ad on my site.
I am thinking about restarting some pay-per-click advertising with goodle and yooha…
Last time I had some campaigns running, I’m pretty sure that my ad budget was being chewed through by crooked competitors.
Any suggestions on how to avoid fraudulent clicks and how to catch a competitor doing this? If I can catch the competitor doing it, do you think goodle / yooha would take action?
I have signed up for Ad sense from Google. I have waited for over two weeks for a reply. I have done search’s on the net regarding this question and it seems to go in circles. If someone has done this successfully and wouldn’t mind sharing the steps it takes it would be appreciated. A detailed answer that walks through the steps would be better.
How do you index your site with Google? How do you "actually" get pay per click ads on your website. How do you put the pay per click ads that you want on your website? It also seems that many sites have more than 3 sometimes over 20 ads per page. Any comment on that also. Also advertising banners. What is AH Tag? Please help!!
I’m building a website that contains informational pharmaceutical content. I’m wondering if adding the pharmaceutical advertising such as pay per click would be benefitial.
I’m having problems with Google Adsense. Its Google’s advertising program. There program lets you display adds on your site so you can earn money by pay per click. There program searches your site then displays ads relational to your content. The problem is that its to close to my content. I would like a advertising program where I can choose keywords and the ads will show up accordingly. I want a advertising program where I control the ads. HELP !
II heard that Yahoo is going to start "Pay Per Click Program" like Google Adsense to compete with Google. If you know regarding this please reply. That will be good enough if Yahoo starts Pay Per Click Program to enabe website owners/publishers place Yahoo ads on their website.
I am considering using a PPC (Pay per click) affiliate program and Google AdWords in order to generate a new income.
Basically… Get paid each time a customer clicks a link, but then pay Google AdWords for advertising it in the sponsored listings…
If the amount I am paying for the google AdWords is less than the amount I get paid by the PPC (Pay per Click) service… Then its a Win / Win situation.
I was just wondering if anyone knows of any legislation or terms and conditions that prevent me from doing so?
How much do advertising usually pay per click while advertising online? I know that depends on the industry and on the product that one is advertising but if one were to advertise an online business, how much is she/he expected to pay per click if chooses the pay-per-click option?
I want to advertise with pay per click advertising. My budget is a month for right now. What would be a good price to pay per click to have a decent position on a search engine?
I don’t quite understand the pay per click advertising process. I understand how it works but how can I personally get started? If I make an account on Google ad words do I need a legit business? I don’t own a business.
Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising is the fastest growing internet advertising media to date. The popular advertising technique of PPC involves placing sponsored links that are usually in the form of text ads on various websites, advertising networks, and also on search engine results pages. The auto-generated text ads are typically positioned near search results and the advertiser pays a certain cost for each visitor that click through on the link or banner to visit the advertiser’s web page. There are some businesses that rely solely on PPC advertising to earn money online, thus proving its effectiveness as a powerful marketing tool. And you dont even need to start to understand How does Google rank pages…
Generally, PPC advertising is all about bidding for the position you want on search engine results and listings. Advertisers do this by bidding on keywords or phrases that are relevant to their products or services. The higher the bid, the higher the position on the search results, the more people will find the ad and click on it to go to their websites. Some people call this “keyword auctioning”. Advertisers would then pay the bidding price every time a visitor clicks through to land on the webpage.
Pay Per Click advertising normally involves the following steps. First, choosing and setting up an account with a PPC search engine followed by depositing funds into the account. Next, creating a keyword list of specific keywords or phrases you want to bid for where your listings will appear on the results pages of the search engine. Then you carry on to bid on the ad position for the keywords or phrases you selected. Next, you write a relevant and compelling ad copy to entice visitors to click through. You then define which page you want the visitor to land on after clicking through. Finally, you confirm and place the advertisements on the search engine.

4. Watch the Bottom Line
Measure your profit margin against your spending or expenses. Know when to stop and terminate your PPC campaign. If conversion is too low then spending more money on advertising is not advisable.
5. Building a Good Keyword List
Select the right keywords and phrases to bid for. Research your keywords well using existing search terms and online keyword suggestion tools. Know which are the terms that are mostly used by your customers when searching for your product or service. Concentrate on specific keywords or phrases and not broad ones.
