How do you get people to use a brand new ad website?

Hi, I’ve developed a new classified advertising site: www.dragonads.co.uk
The site is simply for the buying and selling of second hand items much like some of the existing sites already out there. However I’ve included some nice features that some of the other sites lack.
The problem is how do I get people to use the site? I’m getting traffic as I’m paying for Google AdWords, but no one seems to want to register or place an advert on a brand new site. (Understandably so, I mean why advertise on a site no one else uses?) But the current popular established sites must have started somewhere with no ads and no registrations, so how did they get started and get people using their sites?

  1. Its up to you as a website owner to convert the visitors into sales, sign ups. The more attractive and appealing your website is to the customers needs, the better off your services will suit their needs.

Get a professional website reviewer or post a review at Digital Point forums, people will review you site and you can get a rough idea why those visitors from Google Adwords are not converting to sales, signups?

    Good Luck!
