How can i get people to visit and buy from my website?
I have recently lauched a website that sells softwares, check it out @ http://www.softmall.org
ok so it si clear that i have spent a lot of resources as well as time into this website, now i want something back from it. 
now how can i get people to buy from my website.
word of mouth is no good here in my city as every software is pirated here and everyone buys pirated stuff, so cant advertise locally.
i understand that i need visitors, can anyone please tell me the best paid and cheapest method of getting traffic.
google adwords is no good, its too expensive and generates almost zero results in sales.
please tell me the cheapest way i can advertise my website and also get more visitors and thus more sales ?
Seek out the forums and groups where people have a particular interest… which you have a particular software that will help them solve a problem, or improve their life in some way.
Offer advice, help, and solutions to their problems and needs to establish yourself as the "got to" person of a particular topic or issue. Then lead them into your site for total solutions.
Also seek out the ezines and newsletters with subscribers of a particular interest. Offer the publisher free articles for their publications. Of course, at the end of each article is your author’s resource box which has your website addy in it to direct subscribers to software solutions.
There are so many other ways, but these two should keep you busy, they are free, and very effective. Over time, the search engines start picking up on your info in forums, groups, and publications… and start ranking you, and sending "natural" qualified traffic to your site in response to inquiiries made online.
Thousands of non-buying visitors are nothing compared to hundreds of interested and prequalified buyers.
sorry to say it going to be tough one to get buyer although you get 1000 per day visitor. there are already established sites that people trust when looking for software. you are just starting out. when people buys online they looks for credibility, trust and expertise. those criteria are getting some much important lately as internet are increasingly loaded with scam and spam. anyhow if you think you want to take the challenge to patiently building those criteria and see how it turns out then i just say good luck to you. if you need place to advertise for free go to my site and check out directory section. there you can find list of the top free classified ads site. one last advise if you get 200-300 visitor and they never spend more than 10 seconds at your site or view at least 3 pages per visit then something is not right already. don’t wait to make changes only after reaching 1000 visitor. use google analytic to track this. it is a free tools. hope that helps a bit.
