Converting web traffic into sales?

Hi there,

I have a lingerie website that I am currently promoting. I am using Google Adwords etc etc, and am generating about 20 visits a day, but people aren’t signing up and buying.

Can somebody maybe have a look and let me know if there is anything that would put you off signing up?? I do all payments via Paypal so its quite secure from that perspective. Should I have a proper credit card facility as well?

    On average you should be getting one sale every 100-200 visits. Regardless what you need is:

    1) More traffic (20 a day is very little). Try some Free Traffic techniques:

    2) More qualified traffic. Maybe your AdWords isn’t really targeted. Try learning more about it. Or hire a professional to do it.

    3) Maybe have an affilaite program. Get other affiliates and businesses to link back to your site.

    4) Get a proper checkout system! Paypal only is not good enough! Get google checkout or 2checkout.

    The first problem I see is that your sign up form is not as noticeable as it should be. Also 20 visits a day isn’t enough traffic to expect much

    You can try article marketing at an article submission service like http://www.ezinearticles.com and link back to your website in the resource box for your articles.
    You can also comment on popular blogs like John Chow’s or Joel Comm’s that allow linkbacks to your URL. Do a Yahoo Search.
    Create a video and upload it to YouTube with your URL flashed on the screen. All of these are free.
